We provide services for the full LIHI certification process. This includes contacting agencies and organizations to obtain their support and comments during the process along with the collection of water quality and other data necessary for the application. We provide a completed draft of the entire application for client review to minimize the client’s burden of time. Services include working with LIHI and client for the occasions where conditional certificates may be required. Also, we provide assistance for state certification process for participation in the renewable energy credit market.

Engineer, Regulatory, & Construction Solutions
The Greenville and Occum projects are owned by the city of Norwich, Connecticut and located on the Shetucket River. Renewable Power Consulting was retained by the city to prepare and submit applications to the Low Impact Hydropower Institute. We collected and summarized the appropriate information for the application and contacted various resource agencies to solicit comments and support for the certification process. Upon successful certification of the facilities we continued services to obtain Massachusetts Renewable Energy Certification.
