Regulatory Compliance
Woronoco
The Woronoco project is a multi-unit multi-dam project located on the Westfield River in Western Massachusetts. Renewable Power Consulting was retained to complete license compliance requirements that had languished for a number of years. These included requirements for fish and eel passage and a variety of dam safety compliance plans. We developed a comprehensive fish passage plan for the project and implemented passage effectiveness testing. Working directly with the owner and resource agencies, we formulated operational and testing plans for up and downstream eel passages. We continue to provide services for all compliance requirements for the project.
